Volkswagen subsidiary Elli introduced a pilot project for bidirectional charging in private homes, featuring a legally compliant 11 kW wallbox that connects electric vehicles with home solar systems through a modular software platform. This technology can potentially reduce charging costs by up to 75% and supports energy independence.
