Civ Robotics, a San Francisco-based company founded in 2018, has raised $7.5 million in Series A funding, bringing its total investment to $12.5 million. The company develops automated surveying robots called CivDots, unmanned ground vehicles designed to mark thousands of precise coordinates daily on large construction sites. CivDots can perform surveying tasks up to eight times faster than traditional methods with an accuracy of up to 8mm, reducing errors and improving efficiency.
