In June 2024, Norway's auto market saw plugin electric vehicles (EVs) capture a record 97.7% market share, a significant increase from 85.3% a year earlier. Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) alone accounted for 96.9% of new sales, with plugin hybrids (PHEVs) making up 0.8%.
