US pilots fly alongside AI-piloted drones for next-gen air combat

The US Air Force is advancing next-generation air combat by training pilots to operate alongside AI-piloted drones, notably the XQ-58A Valkyrie. This stealthy, autonomous drone, developed by Kratos under the Low-Cost Attritable Strike Demonstrator program, is designed for collaborative missions with manned aircraft such as F-35s, F-22s, F-15EXs, and F-18s.
