Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has announced a nationwide expansion of its green transformation incentives alongside an ambitious plan to deploy 150,000 battery-swapping stations across Vietnam. This initiative, part of the third-phase “Mighty Spirit of Vietnam — For a Green Future” campaign, will launch its battery-swapping network on September 9, Vietnam’s National Day. The green transformation policy, previously limited to three regions, will now cover all 34 provinces and cities, offering a 4% discount on vehicle prices plus interest rate subsidies for financed purchases.
